My Olympic trials didn't go as well as planned. My goal was to make the team in the 800m and then decide after that event whether or not I would compete in the 1500m. Unfortunately I didn't make the final in the 800m so the 1500 was a must. I knew I wasn't prepared very well to run the longer distance but I put my heart into it and gave all I had.
Sadly no Beijing for me but I'll be heading over to Europe in a week or so and I aim to set some new personal bests and having some great races.
We all have our moments to shine and the 08 Olympic trials belonged to my competitors. I wish the six guys who made the team in the 800m and 1500m the very best in their pursuit of the medal stand in China.
